Aug 20, 2013· I cannot get reclaimed shot to work in my SL900. The charge weights are all over the place and I cant seem to find a happy medium. The biggest problem is that the shot occasionally bridges in the feeder tube. The shot backs up then lets loose all .

Apr 03, 2007· One of my better buys. One thing I would mention is if you deal with a Trap Skeet club, be sure the shot is recast and not reclaimed. there is a big difference. Recast shot is gathered from the ground and resmelted and redropped, and is for all intended purposes, new shot. Reclaimed shot is gathered in the same fashion, then just washed and rebagged.
Oct 07, 2018· I don't know much about reloading lead shot but Hodgdon reloading center has the load you are talking about but it's gr at 11,400 psi 1250 fps i think 28gr is way to much. A 3'' inch chamber shotgun is good to 11,500 psi the barrel can probably handle 14,000 psi with no problem but the other parts of the gun will break probably often.

Dec 10, 2011· I was at Rose Hill Shooting Club outside of Nashville, NC this weekend and they sell a whole list of shotshell reloading supplies for fairly decent prices. They do carry 25# bags of lead for just a little more that what mail order would cost, so if you are there anyway, it's not a bad deal. I do not know if it was new or reclaimed forgot to ask.
